OUR OPPORTUNITY TO UPLIFT INDIANA’S FAMILIES
Exousia Ministries is poised to partner with 40 Indiana church congregations in launching the transformative Caring Cradle program. This dynamic ministry initiative equips churches to provide life-changing parenting education and resources for infants, toddlers, and their families. By collaborating with the Indiana District of the United Pentecostal Church International (INUPCI), we have the unique privilege of offering specialized training and tools designed to promote the physical, social-emotional, and cognitive development of young children. Each congregation—whether serving fewer than 50 or more than 500 members—is uniquely positioned to address the pressing needs of their communities, bridging the gap for families facing social disparities and obstacles. This is more than a program; it’s a movement to create lasting change across rural, urban, and metropolitan areas of Indiana. Together, we can empower congregations to be beacons of hope, compassion, and support, ensuring that vulnerable mothers, fathers, and their young children receive the care and resources they need to thrive. Join us in this exciting opportunity to transform lives, strengthen families, and lay the foundation for a brighter, healthier future for Indiana’s youngest generation.

OUR PROJECT
The Caring Cradle Initiative, a collaboration between Exousia Ministries and the Indiana District of the United Pentecostal Church International (INUPCI), seeks to empower congregations to create nurturing, resourceful communities for expectant parents, infants, and toddlers. Open to all 160 INUPCI congregations, the initiative will select 40 diverse churches through an application process to participate in a two-year program serving rural, urban, and metropolitan areas across Indiana.
Selected congregations will begin with a paid two-day training workshop, which will equip them with the curriculum, program tools, marketing resources, and program funding. Participating churches will receive $9,500 in total funding, divided over two years, to purchase infant and toddler products to distribute to participants as incentives to attend weekly meetings regularly.
Each church will implement Partners for a Healthy Baby, a research-based parenting curriculum designed to meet families' multifaceted needs and foster children's physical, social-emotional, and cognitive development. This curriculum covers four critical periods: before baby arrives, infants, toddler twos and preschool threes. There is also a course on promoting parenting resilience to nurture and support children even when facing challenges.
Continuous support from Exousia Ministries will help maintain program momentum. In addition, our team will provide Caring Cradle intellectual property to assist churches in securing additional funding from local grantmaking organizations, ensuring the sustainability of this ministry beyond the current initiative.
By participating, congregations will strengthen families, improve early learning outcomes, and serve as a cornerstone of hope and support within their communities.
